The first episode of ‘Top Chef: New Orleans’ plops the cheftestants by the riverside – excuse us, swamp-side – where they must create a fabulous feast for Padma Lakshmi, Tom Colicchio and their guests. Expect oysters, zydeco – and beaucoup astonishment when the competitors discover they’ll be cooking outdoors, not in a professional kitchen. Yes, folks, they are surprised.
